LCSW Supervision
in Falls Church, VA
Virtual supervision available in Virginia and Washington, DC
Supervision is an intentional pause. A space to reflect, ask thoughtful questions, and begin shaping your voice as a clinician. It’s collaborative and grounded, guided by curiosity, compassion, ethics, and integrity.
The right supervisory relationship matters. Beyond meeting licensure requirements, supervision becomes a place to deepen your clinical thinking, explore your questions, and grow into your unique perspective, all while feeling supported as you navigate the complexities of this work.
You might be looking for supervision that:
Supports both your clinical skills and the development of your voice as a therapist
Feels collaborative, where your perspectives and instincts are valued
Balances skill building with curiosity, reflection, and self-awareness
Allows you to explore challenges openly, without fear of judgment
Supports your work with complexity, uncertainty, and the realities of clinical work
Provides guidance around case conceptualization, interventions, and ethical considerations
Encourages growth while honoring where you are in your development
Focuses on how you’re thinking about your work, not just what to do next
Offers guidance in areas that are often underrepresented in traditional training
Feels grounded, relational, and aligned with your values
Supporting your development as a clinician
Over time, you may begin to notice:
More confidence in how you approach your work
Greater clarity in your clinical thinking
A stronger sense of your voice and your perspective as a therapist
More ease in navigating uncertainty and complexity
A deeper trust in yourself in the room

Hi, I’m Lauren. I’m an LCSW/LICSW and clinical supervisor who supports therapists in developing their voice, deepening their clinical thinking, and growing into their work in ways that feel grounded and authentic.
You might be noticing that certain parts of your clinical work feel challenging. Maybe you’re second-guessing your decisions, feeling unsure how to approach complex cases, or wondering how to make sense of what’s happening in the room. You may find yourself holding questions you’re not quite sure how to answer or wanting more clarity and confidence in your work. If you’re here, there’s likely a part of you that’s looking for a space to reflect, grow, and feel more supported as a clinician.
In our work together, we’ll take time to think deeply about your cases and how you’re experiencing your work. Rather than focusing on getting it “right,” we’ll approach your questions with curiosity - exploring patterns, building your clinical understanding, and supporting you in making thoughtful, confident decisions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices.
I also bring a strong focus on helping you develop your clinical identity, not just your interventions. My work is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, kink-allied, and trauma-informed, and I aim to create a supervision space where you can show up as you are, ask questions openly, explore uncertainty, and grow into the kind of therapist you want to become.
Why work with me
Supervision with me is both reflective and practical - a space to think deeply about your work while building the skills and confidence to support your clients.I place a strong emphasis on helping you develop your voice and clinical identity, not just your interventions. Together, we’ll explore your cases with curiosity, make sense of complexity, and support you in navigating uncertainty with more clarity and confidence.I also bring specialized experience in working with illness, sexuality, relationships, and identity, offering guidance in areas that are often underrepresented in traditional training.Above all, I strive to create a space that feels collaborative, grounded, and supportive, where you can show up as you are, ask questions openly, and grow into the kind of therapist you want to become.
